Where are they housed?

Because the temporary, all expenses paid for accommodation must come to an end when they get their ILR and work permit/National Insurance Number - they can then apply as “homeless” to their local council.

Just like unfortunate British taxpayers who may have lost their homes due to job loss, mortgage repossession, eviction etc.

However, these people will usually be judged “intentionally homeless” and left in a homeless shelter.

So what happens to the successful asylum seekers? I suppose they are going straight into the Council and Housing Association houses that should. be rights, be available to the British taxpayer?

i had my home repossessed 2 years ago and they charged me 15,000 cleaning charges even though there was NOTHING to actually clean up as my entire family made sure it was SPOTLESS.im not sure if i can get a mortgage though as i am a single mum of four and on benefits.i am still paying off the 15,000 and i am worried that even if i do get accepted for a mortgage,they will take the money off me anyway.please can someone help me?

My stupid landlord didn’t pay the mortgage which I kind of assumed when the sheriff was here looking for him. So anyway the date of public auction is 10/27/07. I am going to start looking for an apartment tomorrow, but does anyone know how much time I will have to move and do I need to continue to pay rent?

I am 7 months pregnant and have an 8 year old son with special needs. Should I be looking for something right away or do I have until maybe November 1st?
