My landlord passed the maintnance fee of $250 to me and i do not own the apartment

I live in Aventura,FL and I been in this apartment since May, my second month here I got served with papers from her bank. I spoke to landlord and she said she was working things out, even so I kept getting letters from her bank and lawyers, and just 3 days ago I got a letter from the court WITH MY NAME stating that this apartment is on the process of foreclosure. I just would like to know if I could move out without getting into any legal trouble. Could i ask landlord if she would consider ending my contract? I just cant deal with this.

Rent Back Fast

I’m living in a home that is under foreclosure and i have not paid rent for 1 year due to my landlord leaving and not coming back. My question is would i have to pay back the rent for the months I have not. To the bank or anyone else? Is it possible that they could ask for the rent for the past months. Also to add that the lease that I was under has expired since before the landlord left.

I live in a expensive area that my boss originally helped me rent while I work at home. My aprtment is very old and run down now and my landlord won’t let me switch apartments either.

There is nothing about foreclosure in our lease.
And what if the company we have the lease with is no longer in business? Does that make our lease null and void?

We moved into the apartment in November and found out in late December/early January that the landlord/building were already in pre-foreclosure proceedings. We don’t know how much time we have left here, and I would rather move sooner then later as my eldest is starting school this year. Also, there is no language in the contract about penalties for leaving early.

I have tried to search tenant laws, but can’t find anything helpful!

he is threatening to turn off all elec,water,&trash removal if we don’t pay him rent.since he longer own the building,what do we do to keep our utilities that included in our rent on?everyone is putting their rent in escrow account at their bank.in case we are told by the city to move immediately.

My lease is still up, but my landlord has lost the building. Now the city had turned off my water. What should I do? The City had turned me down.

A female friend of mine’s apartment complex apparently has gone into foreclosure & the landlord seems not surprisingly to have disappeared so what might happen now to the residents? After all it’s not there faults the complex failed.
