I was laid off from my previous job and now I have an interview with an apartment complex to be a leasing agent. Unfortunately, I probably have the worst credit in America right now (due to a divorce, which include a foreclosure and a dismissed bankruptcy). I was wondering if they will do a credit check just for me to work there? I really need the job but I and think I have a really good chance, but I am afraid of the outcome because of my credit.

I have a SUV that I owe 18,000 dollars on. It only blue books for 15,000. We’ve been to dealerships, nobody will let us trade it in because we have no down pymt and we are upside down on the pymt.
If we let the car go to repossession, they auction it, it doesnt bring the payoff, in what ways will they come after me for the remainder? Can they take my home?
We arent behind on it, we just can no longer afford it. We dont have good enough credit to get a loan for the remainder payoff if were were to private sell it. Friends and family giving us the money wont work because they dont have it either.

I got laid off a few years ago and had a credit card charged off. I have a good salary but still can’t get financed. I’ve never had a bankruptcy, a repossession or anything like that. I don’t own a home, I rent one and have lived in it for 9 years. How can I get a car without solid credit? I can afford the payments.
