Complex is in foreclosure and I just moved in a few months ago and just found out. It is managed by a third party company. They say I have nothing to worry about that someone will buy it.. What rights do I have in North Carolina.. thanks for you help!!!

I just signed an 11-month lease with a small apartment complex. Today, I got a letter in my door that said that the economy has been bad and the apartment complex’s owners are trying to avoid a foreclosure, but they want us to continue our residency because they will still maintain their high level of customer service (which I will admit, is very friendly, personal, and fast).
It didn’t say that is WAS going to go through a foreclosure, only that the owners are trying to avoid one. There was no other information in the letter.
What would this mean for me, my lease agreement, etc?
Right now I’m clinging to each one of my paychecks and I don’t even have the 4 dollars I need to buy my cat some food (inbetween checks) so I’ve been cooking him chicken.
I would be put in a very, very nasty place if I had to move again, because I’m already staying at the lowest rent complex that I could find.
Edited to add:
I have a suspicion that they would want to get rid of the building, regardless. It’s “low income” (very very low rent) and very small, but its situated right smack in the middle of a middle-income housing complex, park area w/ lake (I live in the desert), and an overall “higher caliber” residential area. It was also built in the 70’s, and its very very obvious.

A female friend of mine’s apartment complex apparently has gone into foreclosure & the landlord seems not surprisingly to have disappeared so what might happen now to the residents? After all it’s not there faults the complex failed.

I was laid off from my previous job and now I have an interview with an apartment complex to be a leasing agent. Unfortunately, I probably have the worst credit in America right now (due to a divorce, which include a foreclosure and a dismissed bankruptcy). I was wondering if they will do a credit check just for me to work there? I really need the job but I and think I have a really good chance, but I am afraid of the outcome because of my credit.

I am a college student(live in student based apaprtment community) getting ready to graduate soon and move to another place. I was thinking of maybe asking my apartment complex to have a community yard sale. Im sure there are other students who are probably getting ready to move away also or just have stuff like old clothes or house stuff there not using and could use some extra cash. Does anyone have any advice or think this would be a good idea.

We have this huge problem in our apartment complex in Bangalore. Couple of owners are claiming exclusive access to the set-back area. They claim this to be their own garden space, and and are planning to commercialize the area. Can the builder give the title to the space? There is no mention of the same in Sale Deed of the owner claiming such ownership. Additionally, can the original promoter (after 10 years) sell the set-back area by registering a new sale deed?
What is the 7-11 document?

For example, Warren Properties is an apartment chain that has locations all over and offers monthly rentals. I need the name of a few other such chains as im relocating and cant find a convenient location with Warren properties. Any help is appreciated. Specifically for the Dallas/Fort Worth area around Richardson.
Those suggestions were really helpful! Anyone else know of any others?
