Bankruptcy and foreclosure and renting a apartment?
I went through bk and foreclosure 2 years ago and now I’m trying to rent an apartment. They want 1st month rent as a deposit. Is that a good thing or do most people want more than this?

It really depends on the property owners. It is not unusual to want 1st month rent as a deposit. It’s also not unusual to want 1st and last months rent as a security deposit PLUS references and OR a credit check.
