What do I need to know before I rent an apartment?
Hey yahoo answers friends.
I am soon going to be moving out of home, to rent an apartment by myself in regional Victoria. I have never rented an apartment before, so i was wondering what do I need to know.
Any ideas on how things like insurance, paying bills, lease periods, rates etc. etc. work?
Help I`m a moron when it comes to this kind of stuff!

You stated you are moving out of home, why not enlist the help of your parents. they probably know a lot more than you think they do, and could probably help you with these questions as well as many others concerning the move.
